The most advanced MOBA on mobile, Heroes of Order & Chaos on iOS, now has Twitch integration so you can create your own streams and upload videos on your Twitch account! No capture card to buy, no streaming software to install!
A while back, Asphalt 8 was the first mobile game to get the highly anticipated Twitch SDK. This gave players the ability to stream their live gameplay to Twitch from their mobile devices. Today, I’m happy to share with you all that Heroes of Order & Chaos will be joining Asphalt 8 as the second Gameloft game to get the Twitch SDK! Get ready to show the world your skills live on Twitch with just your mobile iOS device. No capture card, no streaming software, just you and your Twitch audience!
Just like in Asphalt 8, Heroes of Order & Chaos features a robust menu system that lets players set up their stream just the way they want it. Players will be able to change the title of their broadcast, choose the quality, and turn on their device’s microphone and front-facing camera. The Twitch SDK lets players log in to their existing Twitch account and broadcast to their channel after the initial setup. If a player is new to Twitch, no worries! The Twitch SDK gives players the option to create an account from inside the game. EZ PZ folks! The Twitch SDK for Heroes of Order & Chaos is available on A6 and A7 devices: iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad mini w/Retina, iPhone 5s, 5, and 5c.
Now the new stuff doesn’t stop there. The Heroes of Order & Chaos team packed a few other details into this update that I know they are really excited for. The team has been hard at work listening to the community and working on taking care of some of the issues players have been vocal about. One of those things is adding a “Reconnect” button. The Devs realized that this community request was one that would help us accomplish two goals:
- It will help players get back into matches in case they get a disconnection or any other interruption in gameplay
- It will, hopefully, entice players to stay in a match as they will not be able to start a different one before the current game finishes.
It’s worth mentioning that there are situations where the reconnect option will not appear. A couple examples of this are:
- Solo games
- When a match ends
- Or when a game room no longer exists
The HOC team definitely thinks that this feature will help players all over experience a higher quality of games. I know I’ll be looking to use the reconnect button should anything interrupt my game!
The other changes that are taking effect with this update are a variety of balance changes. The Heroes team made sure to listen to the abundance of community feedback regarding flavor of the month (FOTM) or OP champions and game mechanics.
